    Not good times for young people like myself.

      Definitely. This will have long-term repercussions. Think of all the people that aren’t developing and honing valuable skills, this will change the makeup of our industry.

    It’s important to keep in mind that only 63% of the population is actually in the labor force.

      And when you consider that “of the 144 million Americans employed last month, only 116 million were working full-time”, you get the the 47% figure

      Right, as the a large portion of the rest have given up looking for jobs. But how are they not starving? Well, unemployment checks aren’t too hard to get.

    Temps and interns are everywhere! These temp and intern jobs are supposed to lead to full time jobs and instead lead to more temp and intern jobs. It really is a sad state of affairs and the end of this seems out of sight for now.
